Hey y'all.

Welcome to my blog!
When I married my husband in 2012, I never imagined we'd still be in our hometown, but here we are.
Our life isn't always glamorous, but we try our best to keep this small town life special.

Welcome November!

November has flown by. I cannot believe it's already the 15th.

It's finally cold here in Georgia! The leaves are finally changing... I also updated my chalk board. I know it's not perfect, but I'm getting better. I really want to practice calligraphy more. Hopefully my Christmas board will be even better!

I went shopping for Christmas! There is an Arts & Craft Festival in Macon every year called Christmas Made in the South and I have many memories of going with my Mother and Ginnie every year. And now, some of my friends and I have made it a tradition to go! It's a lot of homemade stuff; Candles, Food, Signs, Figurines, Furniture, Wreaths, etc. I didn't buy much but I got a few goodies. It's A LOT of walking but we had so much fun! We always do. We ended up doing even more shopping at the mall too. I love a good Girl's Day!

I don't know if you can tell, but I went a little more blonde for the holidays! I know the trend is usually to go darker in the winter, but you know.. I just love to go against the grain!

I'm hoping to take some pictures of my Thanksgiving decor soon. It's all coming out little by little. We are having a Thanksgiving party next week so I will make sure to take lots of pictures of that!
