Hey y'all.

Welcome to my blog!
When I married my husband in 2012, I never imagined we'd still be in our hometown, but here we are.
Our life isn't always glamorous, but we try our best to keep this small town life special.

Christmas at the 101

Christmas time is here! I just love a house at Christmas. Sometimes I wish we could keep the decorations up all year! The house looks so homey and full of life. I love the lights and the glitter and the fact that you're allowed to be (a little) tacky!

Here are just a few pictures of our little home:

A real tree... Of course! I just love the smell.

I love my nativity set! My mother gave it to me for Christmas a few years ago, and I just think it's beautiful. There are several other pieces, more animals & a stable that I want to collect over time.

That candle is the best thing that ever happened to me. It seriously smells like Christmas. It has mint, evergreen, sugar, and cinnamon. It's perfect. "Mistletoe Kisses" by Swan Creek Candles.

I absolutely love the mantel B built us! It was 75 degrees here today, or we would have had a fire going!

The coffee table is full of memories... A picture from our first Christmas together as husband and wife, a Christmas activity book that we worked on our first Christmas when we were dating, a family Advent devotion book that we have done every year, and the snow globe I sent B while he was in grad school -- it says "If a kiss was a snowflake, I'd send you a blizzard" :)

This is just the beginning! I can't wait to share more of my Small Town Special Christmas!
