So, what better way to bring in the New Year?... A fever of 101 and 3 hours in the waiting room of Urgent Care... I had the flu. And it was awful! I have never been that sick in my life. 11 days later and I am just now feeling like myself again!
I wanted to do a little Holiday recap:
Our 2015 Family Christmas Picture
Santa brought me a Selfie Stick... Look out world!
My favorite present of all! I have wanted a KitchenAid Mixer forever and B totally surprised me on Christmas morning with this! I really was not expecting it at all. I can't wait to use this bad boy all the time!
Look at this nugget. I love my nephew Mack so much... but I also wanted to show you I also got a Canon Rebel Camera! I don't have a picture of it, but I took this picture with it and it's just an example of how clear and pretty the images are! I'm so excited to use it to take better pictures for my blog! I have wanted one so long, and I was so shocked that my parent got one for me, I cried! I'm so thankful!
Even though I woke up that morning and felt horrible, we had invited some friends over to celebrate New Year's and I didn't want to cancel on all of them! Thankfully I have the best friends in the world and they all pitched in to help set up and get the food ready, as well as staying to help clean up!
B grilled buffalo and hot honey mustard wings. They were amazing! Then my friend Taylor made 4 different kinds of cake pops: AKA the most addicting dessert ever. You just pop them in your mouth and you can't stop and before you know it, you've eaten 24 cake pops and you feel awful. HA! But seriously, they are so good.
B surprised everyone with a bunch of fireworks he bought at the little road side stand in front of WalMart.
We played some board games and I set up a photo booth!
We also decided to drop a "fireball" from our roof. This was probably super dangerous, but it was really fun and somewhat exciting to drop it off at midnight! We are so redneck.
I wish I had felt better but I really did love watching everyone else have fun!
So now the question is, what will 2015 bring me? I hope no more sickness...
