Hey y'all.

Welcome to my blog!
When I married my husband in 2012, I never imagined we'd still be in our hometown, but here we are.
Our life isn't always glamorous, but we try our best to keep this small town life special.

Bobcat Ramble & Post-Run Breakfast

This weekend is Alumni Weekend at the college in Milledgeville. There are lots of events going on, and even though I'm not an alumni, my sister is! We decided to walk the Bobcat Ramble 5K as part of the festivities. 298

It was FREEZING, but we made it through! I am not a runner by any means, but we were speed-walking! The course went through our historic downtown, so it was nice to enjoy the view and spend time together...

My mother was so sweet and fixed us an awesome post-run breakfast to refuel!

I LOVE grits... I know they are an acquired taste, but when you grow up on them, you really do love them. My Mother makes them with a lot of butter and milk so they're super creamy and fill you up! These biscuits are obviously low fat...

Ham, Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, Grits and a Biscuit... Soooo good and perfect to warm up after the race!
