I have so many posts to catch up on! We just got home from my first camping trip yesterday, and I have lots to share about that, but this post will be about another first: My first time picking apples!
The day didn't start out too great. Lots of rain and clouds!
Our first stop was Cracker Barrel. I love shopping in their store. They always have the most unique and fun stuff!
I got the best French toast ever and of course a coffee to go! We also got this little container of mints: They're little barrels! So cute.
We finally made it! The orchard we went to is called Mercier Orchard. I wish the day had been prettier. The property was so beautiful.
The store was full of all kinds of stuff! It was really crowded so I didn't get to look around as much as I would have liked, but I did see a few interesting things. The last picture is of the line for the bakery... CRAZY.
We did manage to get a fried apple pie and a ginger ale. The pie was probably one of the best I'd ever had!
We finally made it up to the orchard. It was really cool! I had never picked an apple or eaten one fresh off the tree.
I felt so "fall" doing it!
