Hey y'all.

Welcome to my blog!
When I married my husband in 2012, I never imagined we'd still be in our hometown, but here we are.
Our life isn't always glamorous, but we try our best to keep this small town life special.

Happy to be Happy

Happy to be Happy

Since having the flu, I have had a hard time getting back into the swing of things. It really affected me more than I thought it would. Exhaustion + fear of relapse + the “sick” mentality has really kept me in a fog, but with a new month here, I decided it was time to get back into a routine! This will be a recap blog, nothing too crazy... but hopefully the beginning of the return of my journal posts!

Since my last blog, we’ve celebrated Galentine’s & Valentine’s Day....

We had girl’s night and ate lasagna, banana pudding and talked all night. It was so fun! Good for soul... A sweet student gave us these goody boxs on Valentine’s Day and it was so perfect! Those strawberries were b o m b.

For our Valentine’s dinner, B & I cooked Indian food. We started this tradition last year, to cook something new and fun, rather than going out to eat. I really love the tradition! But the food... meh. This is the baba ganoush I made, and it’s really the only thing worth showing. It was SO GOOD. But the main course? Nah.

Disciple Now 2018 was one of my favorites! We had so much fun. I love these weekends!

This past weekend was my favorite... We celebrated B’s birthday and it was so fun! It was a perfect day of just hanging out together, and the weather was A M A Z E.

Saturday night we headed to the rodeo with B’s family! It was super fun.

I feel like I’m really coming into my country girl prime.
